This is a NEW free ongoing Bi-Weekly ”Spirituality Peer Supervision & Support Group” sponsored by the Maryland Counseling Association (MCA) and Maryland's Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (MASERVIC).
These open group meetings are being held via Zoom every other week on Tuesdays, from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm. We look forward to these consultation groups to offer ongoing support for all mental health professionals during these uncertain times and beyond. Students, pre-licensed and licensed clinicians are welcome. Please try to come to these meetings on time so that you don’t miss the introductions and beginning conversation. Please KINDLY let us know at least 24 hours prior to the beginning if you cannot make it.
We have been discussing our views on how to enhance holistic integrative and spiritual self-care for us clinicians, as well as, what the future may hold for the mental health field. The focus of these meetings will be on the mind/body and spiritual connection to healing with ways to bring this into our therapeutic sessions. Also, we have been including time for case consultations and sharing ideas.
The Zoom link will be sent out by 11:59 pm, the day before each meeting.
Together we can thrive, collaborate with hope, and learn to accept uncertainty!
