Continuing Education (CE) credit hours represent The National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc (NBCC) approved content and must adhere to regulations pertaining to that that organization. NBCC Clock Hours (formerly known as CEUs) content is available through MCA webinars, workshops, division events, and an annual conference held each year in the Fall.
The Maryland Counseling Association, Inc. is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2021, and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC Credit are clearly identified. MCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. MCA Programs Complaint Policy and Procedure: If you have a complaint or dispute regarding any trainings please write a letter and include the following: Your name, address, telephone number, email, name of event, date and location of the event, complaint and desired resolution to MCA via one of the following ways- (FAX) 888-977-1530 or (Mail) MCA, 915 Russell Ave, Suite B, Gaithersburg, MD 20879. You will receive a reply from MCA no later than three weeks from the date you submitted the complaint/dispute. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Maryland Counseling Association, Inc. uses all funds to support the mission, vision, purpose, and needs for counselors in the State of Maryland.
