Bio
Dr. Heather is an experienced LCPC Supervisor working in the private practice setting and counselor education. She is skilled in Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Psychiatric Consultation. She completed a Master's degree focused in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and Doctoral Degree from Lindsey Wilson College in Counselor Education and Supervision. Currently, she is also a Reflective Practitioner Supervisor at The Family Institute at Northwestern for practicum counseling students and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California School of Roisser School Counseling Program. She has past experience as Academic Advisor working in the community college setting with a specialty in Veterans Advising. She enjoys applying her skills in DBT and Mindfulness to support clients in moving past their barriers to achieve their personal goals.
