Native American Lessons in Counseling: Drum and Medicine Bag Making

MASERVIC 2018-2019 President, Dr. Carol ZA McGinnis will share lessons from the White Earth Reservation NBCC International Institute in this 3 hour workshop (3 CEs). 

Interested MCA members can expect to make a large Native American drum and medicine bag in the tradition of the Ojibwe tribe to use in a personal or professional manner.  Plan on an exciting workshop where you will learn important lessons from the Anishinaabe people that can be helpful when working with native as well as a wide variety of diverse clients. 

This workshop will result in an invitation to participate in a new drumming circle and  incur a $50 MCA or ACC member cost to cover CEs and all genuine drum and medicine bag materials. 

Non-ACA/ACC members are welcome at a $75 per person fee for CEs and materials.
